An alternate method of signalling fast turnouts was introduced in NSW, for locations where the straight and diverging routes are the same speed, or only vary by 5-10 km/h. Normal main (straight) indications are displayed for both routes in conjunction with a route indicator at the junction and a turnout repeater on the signal in the rear.
Approaching Hornsby, HY17 signal on the down main displays clear with the route set for the down relief line (the turnout is out of sight around the curve). The line speed at the turnout is 80 km/h for the main, 75 km/h for the turnout onto the relief line.

Year indication of the erection of a corner building in Wijk-aan-Zee (NL).
The year indication is carved into the plaster layer on the facade. and coloured with red paint.
The two-storey building is built in sober architecture, typical for the first decade of the 20th Century. It has white plastered walls with red painted decorative elements.
Seen on the facade of an old hotel, which houses now a restaurant on the ground floor.

A nostalgic snapshot of the band in action. It's a bit odd as there looks to be a couple of male pipers in the lineup. Maybe pipe-major tutors? A wee bit too blurred to make things out clearly. No indication of place or date. Maybe somebody will recognise the frontage.
This may not be actual lava flow, but an indication of its mere presence can churn so much excitement. The Jagger Museum area overlooking the Halemau’Uma’u Crater Vent was packed with people trying to witness mother nature at work. I had to squeeze through many already standing there to setup my tripod.
Before the sun actually set, it was impossible to say that such a spectacle would even exist at this place. On this day, it was dark and overcast with fog all over the crater, and with the sulphur dioxide emission from the vent it merely looked like an abandoned campsite. But once the sun went down and the ambient light dimmed, we saw a faint glow showing up just below the flowing plume of gas.
What you are seeing here is one of the active craters in the Kilauea caldera. We are standing at the rim of the Kilauea crater and you can see the entire sub-crater within it called the Halemau’Uma’u Crater. Within this active crater is the vent which is glowing from a lava chamber may be 300ft below the surface.
