Anglesey Abbey is a country house, formerly a priory, in the village of Lode, northeast of Cambridge, England. The house and its grounds are owned by the National Trust and are open to the public. The extensive landscaped gardens are popular with visitors throughout the year. The most visited areas include the rose garden and the dahlia garden, which contain many dozens of varieties. Out of season the spring garden and winter dell are famed nationally, particularly in February when the snowdrops first appear.

Melbourne, like any city I guess, is full of dark filthy alleyways that I think, are rather interesting spaces to contemplate. The nowheres that are everywhere in-between, that most peolpe would rather ignore.
Norm lives on the city's west end. He is on Main St. pretty much every day, between the banks. In between he plays his guitar and talks to the people on the street. He was kind to oblige when I asked if I could take his photo.

An inbetween day of preparation and sorting. Received an early text message that my Virgin V6 box (a free upgrade to the extremely slow Tivo) had arrived at my designated pick-up point, so I headed round to the local Nisa to pick it up, came back and set it up with the telephone guidance of a gentleman on the Indian sub-continent. Spent the afternoon and early evening packing and charging batteries for the trip to Kilkenny - it's the Rhythm and Roots Festival over the weekend. I've been once before as a punter, but six times as a performer. Looking forward to it. Off to Crewe station in the morning it is...
