Tonight I decided to do something I've not really done before. I actually sat down and wrote myself a letter. An actual one. And one long overdue probably.
And instead of expanding on it here, I'm going to reproduce the text of it (since I know parts of it are lost in folds of skin), and trust that to a certain extent-- it explains itself.
"Dear Me,
’m sorry. For all the pain, for all the anger. For my lack of faith in you… in us.
I’m sorry. For taking so long to speak your truth, to tell our stories, to give you a voice, an opinion, a path.
I’m sorry. For making it so complicated, so frustrating.
But mostly, I’m sorry that it’s taking me so long to love you. It’s not your fault."

The graffiti alongside this old train bridge in Merrickville, Ontario haunts me each time I see it. I suppose the real story can't be as dramatic as the ones I imagine, but I still wonder.
I did and was sorry...couldn't get in touch with my hairdresser so I thought "how hard could it be to cut my own hair?" it's hard. take my word for it. fortunately the next day I was able to get in to see her and she fixed it ....this is right up there with using the dog's ear cleaner when my ear was plugged up....

I love to make art with a purpose. It was in that vision that I came up with Ho'oponopono healing vessles and wands.
Ho'oponopono is a Huna healing and clearing technique taught by Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len, which uses the phrases:
"I love you"
"I'm sorry"
"Please forgive me" and
"Thank you"
as a way to achieve clarity and inspire healing.

sometimes you have to go back to what makes you you....you know you've been waiting for the return of themanilow. so i figured i have got to start cookin' with gas buddy!
haha is it weird that i feel comfortable wearing this, next photo i'll prob try to take it in like a crowded mall or something. really do a head turner.

I'm sorry to this pig for losing its mother for our food, I'm sorry to this pig for me using him to learn, I'm sorry to him for me exploiting him on the Internet. I'm sorry to you guys to have to view this. And I'm sorry to me for not being creative at all today, and ending up posting this and feeling all of this guilt.
I've always found dissections to be incredibly interesting, fun, and horribly wrong all at the same time. But then when I think about it, I want my body donated to science when I die. I don't want to be stuck in a hole in the ground or burned to ashes and then sprinkled over places that are supposed to be important. I want to be useful-alive and dead.
So thank you, fetal pig, for teaching me that it's okay. But I'm still sorry.

oh wow look another square crop white boardered photo! but i love my dog, she's beautiful.
my deepest apologies for this god awful photo. i didn't really think it through when i agreed to dedicate some time to taking a photo every day for a whole year. after school we sometimes go to my gran and grandads for tea and i don't get back until dark so i have to resort to taking ridiculous photos inside which makes my stream looks poo00OOoo0o0p.
