The tarp is pulled tight with trucker's straps tied to trees. A nice strong 10 mil tarp was able to take a lot of tension from the straps and keep a good shape. It is sloped upwards to allow smoke to escape. The 2x4 pole and two down lines shape it into a W-shape to encourage water to drain in a controlled way rather than pool up.

To make some smaller links, I wrapped the wire around the large end, smaller links around the handle and then put it in the vice to stretch the round links to oval. It's a Teddy Bear/doll stuffing tool!

The improvisation orchestra at the composition department concert at the Korzo theatre in Den Haag.
That funny thing next to the upright piano is my tuba. I'm under it, but you can't see me.
I found this discarded metal 'sled' and used it myself to have my first ever go down the slope, but it wouldn't really go anywhere until the second day when I found it again and it was much icier...

It's a rainy Saturday so I'm going through some older pics and playing around with them as black and whites. These were from a blizzard in 2010.
I took a trip to my mechanic yesterday and while he was servicing my car I wandered around his shop with my X100. :)
Vegetables cut in large chunks and spooned into a roasting pan with a chopped herbs and a liberal dose of olive oil. Standing by: White wine, chicken andouille sausages, Asiago chees.
