In the summer of 2001 I had the opportunity to go to Thailand to teach physics to Thai students for 6 weeks. During that time there was a huge festival and a bank holiday. A friend who lived locally took me on a tour to a Thai temple called a Wat.
At festivals like these many people take the opportunity to take part in activities that improve their karma. This woman has paid the man some money to release captive birds into the wild. My friend told me that very often these birds are tamed so they return to their cages each day!

I improved my 10k time by 4 minutes and with elevation. My knees are tweaked, so I took it easy. If I get my quads/glutes fixed so my knees don't suffer, I might be able to get even faster. :)

Cats can improve mental health. Especially during a pandemic that makes your life isolated, you experience a fluctuating mood, especially if you are away from family, friends, or partners who make you lonely.
According to health data published by Europe PMC, it is stated that those who are single or live alone tend to be more easily stressed during a pandemic. To overcome this stress, you can raise a cat to improve your mental health because having a pet can help you share complaints and worries while away from family.
Can Cats Improve Mental Health?
Of course, the answer is you can because cats and other pets can help you express your complaints. For further explanation, you can read the explanation below.
1. Cats Can Relieve Loneliness
Experts claim that pets can help people cope with loneliness and feelings of isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Research conducted by the Department of Business Management, Saurashtra University, Rajkot, said that raising a pet can provide mental support and reduce stress levels.
One explanation is that animals provide unconditional love and don't demand many reasons. Although cats are often viewed as arrogant animals, the presence of a cat, its gestures, and the cat's pampering behavior towards its owner can elevate the mood.

Investing in Health and Wellbeing of Latino Communities
HHS has engaged in a Department-wide approach to deliver integrated and equitable health care. HHS has undertaken several noteworthy initiatives to improve health services for Latinos. These include lowering the cost of prescription drugs through the Inflation Reduction Act, including the 5.3 million Part D enrollees who identify as Latino, supporting local leaders to help get more Latinos insured, launching the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline with Spanish language text and chat services, expanding meaningful access to language assistance services for individuals with limited English proficiency across HHS divisions, and ensuring greater diversity in clinical trials for Long COVID care. Additionally, HHS has taken action, through the HHS Health Workforce Initiative, to strengthen the health care workforce pipeline, recruitment and retention, and career advancement issues with a strong focus on equity and cultural competency.
