..would you believe Saltair, B.C. looked like this on Jan. 9, 2005? That's some freaky weather! What? ..you think the 2 degree Earth axis change, resulting from a 9.5, tsunami-causing earthquake, wouldn't generate global side-effects? Shame on you..
I was trying (and failing) to draw one of Escher's impossible cubes one day at school when I came across this shape - an impossible shape. It's all my own work, so if you have made something like it, it's just a coincidence. This came out of my own brain. And sure, it isn't as good as Escher's, but I'm glad I actually made it. Au revoir.

There goes another shop... There is no place to park at all where you want to eat in the city. Or walk three blocks...

she was 3 weeks old in this picture. can't believe how fast she is growing.
[did I do something wrong or this film is just...whatever?]
Just a test really. I happen to be watching this video/DVD. Am really having trouble opening pics. New system teething difficulties. Do you remember this, the very first series of MI.? Very dated now. But great fun. However, with a tablet I'm finding the new Flickr, Mission Impossible!
My rendition of The Impossibles title card. Well, a rendition, anyway. This was done with colored pencils. I have another done with markers, but for some reason, I liked how this one looks better than the other.
OK, I admit, I cheated on this one. I had a black and white print out and I held it up to a light and traced it. But the Impossibles title card is the ONLY HB drawing I've ever cheated on.
A view of part of El Salvador's Parque Nacional El Impossible. This is in Western El Salvador not too far from the border with Guatemala. It is supposedly one of the most accessible parks in El Salvador. The park is located at the top of mountain, at the very end of a dirt road which gets less and less maintained as you go up. There are little itty bitty villages all the way up the road right up to the border of the park. Most of the people don't own cars, too expensive, so they travel into the nearby town by pickup trucks which operate as buses. Two trucks leave the mountain in the morning at 5 and 7am and two come back in the afternoon at 11pm and 2pm, meaning if you come up to the park via public transportation you stay the night. First we got sort of stuck half way up the mountain and ended up sitting by the side of the road with an El Salvadorian family for about 2 hours (waiting for a pickup). Then we thought we were going to have to camp out with our mosquito net and sleeping bag, but managed to get a ride down and ended up watching the sun set on the beach. Just the ride up the mountain makes visiting the park worth it.
Here is a photo of an impossible triangle that I designed and realized via 3D printing. The material is stainless steel with a bronze matte finish.

I had the privileged to attend a demonstration of the Impossible Projects PX 8x10 instant peel-apart film at A&A Studios in Chicago. Over the course of 3 hours I learned how to load Impossible PX 8x10 film, process it, and peel aparts. Make sure to visit their facebook page: www.facebook.com/aastudioschicago
I believe that we can reach our dream even though we born without legs. Hope you still keep on running to your dream now. (inspire from the life of Oscar Pistorius)
I saw this baby doll tee in an expensive, little hipster shop on Victoria Street.
The graphic is almost exactly the same as a Threadless tee: www.threadless.com/product/483/Impossible_Love.
