Immigration Hall on Ellis Island NYC
You cannot fail to be moved when walking this floor where millions have walked before seeking hope in the USA.
Donald Trump's immigration policy would effectively have barred his own grandfather. But then he is in denial as to where his inherited wealth came from and doesn't believe in paying his taxes. Hey! that's the American Way!!

Immigrants from Mexico and Central America have a difficult time entering the U.S. legally, but until recently, ICE made little effort to arrest illegal aliens at the workplace. On day 82nd of my 4th #HungerStrike outside the #UNHCR office in #Athens, Greece, I left my shelter again to reach the people at Generation 2.0 Red to find out why haven’t they been responding to years of my unilateral communications with them. Also, if I get a chance to reiterate my request for urgent help directly in person.
The Director was not there at first and the people who were present, mostly young and inexperienced, threatened to call the Police without specifying a reason.
Finally, after the Director arrived and by the end our short discussion, he could only commit to respond to my emails. But even then he didn’t fully deliver.
Hence, I continue to remain in urgent need of Humanitarian assistance and legal aid in this unbalanced fight for #Justice and #Freedom for my life.

America has a wall. Alberta had a hall.
Edmonton’s original Immigration Hall was the first home to many in a new province called Alberta. Its doors opened in 1906 welcoming a variety of new immigrants looking for a better life in the land of opportunity.
The building now houses 44 self-contained units for Hope Mission’s Break Out recovery and transitional program, as well as those who are in need of long- term supported living.

Last sunday, we paddled to Angel Island, in the middle of San Francisco bay, where the immigration station admitted approximately 1,000,000 people to the United States between 1910 and 1940.
