A cold and frosty version of the spooky eyeballs I used for Macro Monday this week. Looks like it will be rainy rather than frosty this year ... and the chocolate eyeballs will doubtless be eaten this evening ;o)

Iphone edit using mextures, snapseed, vsco and image blender. To me it looks like the cover of an old sci-fi book. Looked a lot better on the phone!

This is the first effort at trying to present a photo similar to the old wet plate style. The image was captured using Hipstamatic. It was processed using TouchRetouch, Filterstorm, and Stackable. On watercolor paper I taped off a 5x7 rectangle and painted the interior with black paint. When the tape was lifted it left a rough edge. I photographed the rectangle using the iPhone camera. This image was then processed in Popsicolor, which provides the paint run along the bottom edge. The processed image and the frame image were then combined using ImageBlender.

Screen caps of this thunderhead. Merged in Image Blender and slight tweaked in Snapseed

A gentle slide using a shot of plum blossom from the Spring of 2011. I wanted the effect to be as Japanese as I could make it ;o)

I used my own texture - the same one I used on The Ghost Road last week (link in the first comment field)
