A grayscale photo of a calm stream in a forest. Many fallen trees and branches create a natural bridge across the water. The trees are mostly bare, suggesting it may be winter or fall.

Ok "Lou Pintre" in Provencal is a man painting pictures not buildings. But that word sprung to my mind when I took the shot. It is linked to a joke from one of my uncles that I never really understood ( my understanding of Provencal is somehow limited )

Here's my new Rochelle. I really dig this version. I love that she doesn't have the bangs - they always make the dolls look younger, in my opinion. This Rochelle just looks older and more sophisticated to me. She also has the best shoes of all the Rochelles released so far. Thanks Raye!
In other news, I have an ILF Scarah in the mail. I think I may have mentioned before that a friend of a friend had found me one but she had wonky eyes, so I went in search of another. Well, a different friend came through, and I'm getting one that's got a great face-up. I can't wait for her to show up!
I'm also on the hunt for some kitties. I once swore I would never get any of the werecats because I'm not big into cats in real life, but then I got Catty and Cat Tastrophe and now I'm finding I want the others too. I'm hoping to find a fearleading three-pack somewhere, so I can get short-haired Toralei and the twins. Catrine is supposedly showing up here in NZ, but I don't know when. Hopefully soon!
