The Imperial Pod Racer

I recently saw a concept for a Tie Racer on instagram. It was cool but essentially it was just 2 massive cylindrical engines stuck to the side of a Tie Fighter. So I decided to take this to it’s natural conclusion. What would an Imperial Pod Racer look like?

The idea was to take the aesthetics of a Tie Fighter, split it up and re-design it for the racing circuit. I figured that with all the resources the empire has they would make something a lot more polished and refined than the junkyard efforts we see in the movie. They’d also use one of their signature designs for it. The centre part of the ‘pod’ is a heavily modified mid-section from a Tie Fighter by Jerac.

The stamp was kept for long time and I did not have a good idea to make it. So I just stamped it on pink pattern paper (BG) and cut the flowers. On the background, I stamped on kraft paper with memento coco and copic colored the leaves. So that is the 1st card.

My bestie chose several pics to post.. but I'm not flooding Flickr. so I'll post one or two a day.

This one is for Mistress Heels who suggested better heels for the "look"

The official LEGO Ideas blog has just confirmed that nine LEGO Ideas projects that have hit the 10,000 votes required to go on to the first review of 2016.

The nine projects include two Star Wars based ideas - a rolling BB-8 and the Jedi high council chamber. There are four minifigure scale buildings: an old fishing store, modular railway station, Jurassic Park visitor centre and a gingerbread house. The movie based project this time is Johnny Five, a model of the eponymous robot. Finally, in the science themed section we have a fossil museum display of dinosaur skeletons and a functional model of a particle accelerator.

Ideas of Lux

By its very nature unpredictable.

Intentionally distorted to make sense.

Lost in the experience of being sublime.

Each evening, when the sky rests down.

Our users paid for our lies and deceit.

A Promised Land.

Of fully automated luxurious capitalism.

And our future.

Turbocharged capitalism and galactic tourism.

This is the light of lux.

Highlighted to find flickr quickly

You are here in the garden. Some such beautiful butterfly be seen.

Another photo from a recent night walk in London. It is difficult to find a new view of the St Paul's Cathedral from the Millennium Bridge, but I gave it a try... Mr Tripod would have been very handy, but unfortunately was on holidays... Oh well, next time. At least now I have an idea for a photo!

I've had this idea for a while, and this was one good thing about the snow! It was sooo cold doing this shoot, but worth it!

So...winter has decided to arrive early and this morning I woke up to a nice blanket of white covering everything. It seems like when it's cold out, I end up drinking more coffee than usual which not only warms me up, but seems to fill my brain with all sorts of photo ideas :)

Better idea? I don't want just grass. BTW SNOT ROCKS ROCK :3. (I plan to use em more often ;) )

Just something I came up with about a month ago,but lost the pieces to make it.

I will paint this black to look like an actual batarang.

Please give credit if you use.

Please comment if you are going to favorite.

I hadn't seen anyone do this yet, I may be wrong. Chima croc head on a bootleg hulk body (with the removable head). Just threw this together quickly, I'm sure there are some customisers out there who could do a good paintjob etc. The head doesn't fit fully on, but near enough.

this is a sneaky peek at an unfinished sketchbook...blogged.

...veo tantas cada día, en el tren, en el metro, en los bares, en la oficina, en las tiendas, en los parques....son demasiadas miradas vacías que alojan un gran agujero negro en su interior.

Damian: I gave him a black hood instead of his hairpiece and gave him katanas

Nightwing: I gave him Damian's hairpiece, I think this made him look more like his appearance in the new 52 comics

Dick Grayson Robin: this is based on his appearance on Batman: The Animated Series, but i currently don't have red hips and a yellow cape. I will also need green arms.

Tell me what you think in the comments below :)

VERY INSPIRING the next time I need a centerpiece!

I have to write a bit of a description for this one, because this never happens in my town. Yesterday was a public holiday but we needed groceries for tea. The local IGA was the only thing open so we went there. As we came out of the store, I noticed this man perched on the wall, just as you see him. There was no-one else around. No other people, no other cars. Just me and Noah and our groceries. How could I pass up this photographic opportunity?? But how could I do it without being noticed? Here's where having a kid with you when out photographing can come in handy. Get kid in car then keep talking to him as you pretend to check your phone for something very important. It is imperative to keep talking to kid the whole time. Shoot quickly from the hip, casually walk around car, get in, drive away. Job done. The reason I really wanted to get this shot is because in my town, people do not just perch themselves against a nice blank wall with interesting textures. I have no idea why he was there but he was a great sitting duck for me to shoot - with my phone of course. He reminded me of that carnival game where all the ducks move past and you have to throw balls at them or shoot at them to knock them down. His cap even looks like a duck's bill. Anyway, there's really nothing special about this image, but it's a bit special for me.
