Im Rahmen des GIS Day 2016 in Salzburg wurde das IDEAS:Lab des Interfakultären Fachbereichs für Geoinformatik eröffnet.
Das iDEAS:lab wird Schülern, Studierenden, Forschern, Projektpartnern aus Universitäten und Wirtschaft ebenso wie der allgemeinen Öffentlichkeit zur Verfügung stehen, um geoinformatische Technologien kennenzulernen und Geomedien-Kompetenz als Grundlage für die Digitalisierung der räumlichen Dimension unserer Lebenswelten aufzubauen.

October 2013 I was approached by an Agency working for Llyods Bank.They asked if they could use my photo on the Left for an Advert.I agreed and signed a contract which was pretty open.They told me I would be paid £250 for the use of it.
3 days ago i saw the advert with the picture on the right.This picture without a doubt is well staged (mine was not) That does not look like a pre pack chair and would be really difficult to fix the legs in the wrong place.They claim they used someone one else's photo.I have serious doubts I feel they used the Idea.My picture has also been used by the BBC on room 101.

Must get different paper. I used the smooth side, but the texture still came through. I sorta like it, but sorta not.

Oh how I dearly love to tell you that I had this great idea, bought a bunch of bulbs, put them in a big glass box, backlit them and took this Fill the Frame pic. But alas the creativity it this lies with another. It was a really smart piece of art work in a bar in Glasgow's city centre. I'm afraid all I did was have the bight idea of photographing it.
