On day four of my train journey across Canada by VIA rail. October 2018. We are seeing lots of snow now.

The window are not very clean so the photos are not that good. Also the train was speeding along at times and really bumpy. I have put all the photos I took on my journey on Flickr as a record of my trip.

Cake covered in sugarpaste. Stripes made from 3 shades of royal icing. Sugar flowers are royal icing (blossoms, daffodils, pansies, forget-me-nots, daisies and leaves). Butterflies are runout royal icing and sugar flower stamens cut in half.

The frozen snow on the rock looked like cake icing to me.
