the end of a small ice cream scooper - HMM!

A second start, my first one was removed because I added a little clove of garlic to the garlic press which was against the rules saying no food.

Ok. So a cool version from the kitchen tools.

Have fun with all the amazing kitchen ideas. HMM, dear Flickr friends.

I really appreciate your comments and faves. I'm not a hoarder of contacts, but enjoy real-life, honest people. You are much more likely to get my comments and faves in return if you fit the latter description. Just sayin. :oD

The gym is closed so I take precautions 😉, no ice cream for me.

It's been a while since my last upload. I've got a lot of editing and uploading to do. And here's one for now. :))

“If you like ice cream, why stop at one scoop? Have two, have three. Too much is never enough.” - Morris Lapidus (American architect)

The theme for “Looking Close… on Friday” for the 6th of August is “ice cream”. When I read the theme, I despaired, as 1.) at the time of photographing Melbourne was back in another Coronavirus lockdown, so acquiring any ice cream was not so easy for me, and 2.) I don’t particularly like ice cream, because with very sensitive teeth, I can’t really eat it. Thus I have no ice creams in my freezer, and my local gelato shop was closed with the lockdown. Then, as I wracked my brain, I remembered that in my Playmobil collection, I had one solitary bowl of pink ice cream scoops! Success! And thus, I have two children happily sharing their ice cream (I know, an unusual occurrence, but not entirely beyond the realms of fantasy)! I do hope that it makes you smile!

Playmobil is a line of toys produced by the Brandstätter Group, headquartered in Zirndorf, Germany. Production began in 1974. Playmobil began to be sold worldwide in 1975, and by 2009, approximately 2.2 billion Playmobil figures had been sold. The signature Playmobil toy is a 7.5 cm tall human figure with a particular smiling face. A wide range of accessories, buildings and vehicles, as well as many sorts of animals, are also part of the Playmobil line. Playmobil toys are produced in themed series of sets as well as individual special figures and playsets. New products and product lines developed by a 50-strong development team are introduced frequently, and older sets are discontinued. Promotional and one-off products are sometimes produced in very limited quantities. These practices have helped give rise to a sizeable community of collectors.

Taken at home even though I'm not the cook and better keep out of it..

This contraption helps get the ice cream into the bowl. You wouldn't know it was brand new from all the scratches.

Take picture of yourself in the ice cream scoop

You look big in a small object!

One little scoop of lovely ice cream and it's just beginning to melt!

For Macro Mondays. Theme - Creamy.

2 pints of ice cream were consumed in the making of this image. Not sorry.

One cone, many scoops...not many cones, one scoop!

We're Here looks at Cones today.

Never been in a cafeteria line? Mashed potatoes. Rice. Tuna salad. Probably not ice cream. Here, prisoners who helped fill the trays would have been issued the tool, and that tool would have to be checked back in after the meal.

Binned the liners and generously greased a baking tray with fat. Yes! Fat, not oil.

Batter put into each well using an ice cream scoop. Easy to measure and eject into the well itself.

I tried veganism last year for a few months and got sick. I guess it isn't for everyone.

I have learned that scooping out the seeds with an ice cream scoop such as the one in the photo makes this job so much easier. Squash flesh is very dense so you need a tool that is very sturdy with a thin pointy edge to dig with.

Nothing wrong with another scoop of ice cream ~ now where did I put that ice cream?!!
