Set in a strange hybrid time period where elements from the historical past of Danish farm life blend with unfamiliar phenomena from the sci-fi future of a trans-human world, the drama revolves around a family of three. three weeks of my life spent with this old drawer off the street of buenos aires....beating the cartoneros to their treasures...
I have always been intrigued by this dramatic and unusual mural in Elkhart, Indiana. I don't know what the story is but there is definitely a narrative going on here. Someone powerful is against gun violence and wants to promote peace and brotherhood. Just a guess!
The facade facing Main Street, which is out of sight here, is boarded up, except for the door but I am not sure if it is completely abandoned.
I don't remember the ivy covering up any of the mural before. It has slowly been creeping around the corner and covers much of the Main Street facade so the visibility of the painting may have a limited future.
I have found out that the man who painted this is a wildlife artist who works in a hyperrealistic style. He lives in Scottsdale, AR and had this to say to the Elkhart Truth in a visit back to town: "...the work was a community effort, with young people from the neighborhood painting the mural."

The series “Truth Dimension” were painted with the help of a computer. He first draws an image with the house, and then a computer program is used to “find and create new images” randomly into the artist’s own randomness [1].
It feels a bit of a cop-out to me, but one has to admit that this work is mostly amazing because it has left the computer screen and became a painting in oil. In this regard I see this mostly as an oil reproduction of the computer screen—and so perhaps it is hyperrealistic in that regard?
When the medium travels into another realm, they often feel more interesting. But what does it really say if the image itself may not really be considered a work of art before it was “transferred” to the oil medium?
