I got to see dolphins today!
This morning I knocked out all my experimental video needs. We somewhat successfully strapped a GoPro to a stunt kite and flew it for a little while. After awhile some of the fastening loosened up and made the camera go floppy. It's still some interesting footage though. After that, Dad and Emily helped me shoot my first hyperlapse, which ended up taking a little over an hour. Whoops! It was totally worth it though. Just skimming through it on the camera it looks pretty sexy.
Then, after a bit more bocce ball, we were off to the dolphin cruise! It was a pretty cool deal. Our boat teamed up with another boat, driving side by side to create a massive wave that the dolphins could easily ride. It was fun! Right next to the place where we docked was an amazing Italian place where we had dinner. Cafe Grazie. Excellent service, amazing food... I'll definitely go back there again someday.
