A title with more than one meaning. The history of the Clinchfield makes it the most "modern" route in American Railroading. The C&O between Russell and Elkhorn City, KY already existed, and at the turn of the Century entities laid out plans to make a hyper efficient route to the Southeast. No such route existed.
The story of the Pikeville cut also continues with the theme of straight shootin'. I believe the Chessie along with the Commonwealth of Kentucky planned to bypass downtown Pikeville in the 70s. The subsequent route is pictured here with US 23 and the Levisa Fork also jammed in there. M693 is moments away from yarding at Shelby. A new crew will come on board later during the night. Personally, I really like the transition from autumn to winter. I find a situation particularly nice when winter announces itself earlier than usual and the trees are still wearing their typical autumn dress. Like a hyper transformation.

Mexican amberwing was half the size of the other dragonfly at the pond. They were so fast it was difficult to capture them.
A blood test has now diagnosed Caithlin with hyperthyroidism. Not uncommon in elderly cats and explains her weight loss. We have seen it before with Snow White and fortunately there is effective medication that probably will keep her well for years to come...

They never tell you about the weird grief that comes when one of your online friends dies. It’s more than just someone not ever logging back in. You don’t know them really. Their families and friends may not know to contact you. There may not ever be a trace. It might have been years since you’ve chatted with them. You have years of history, weird shared inside jokes, spend nights singing, laughing, crying, puking —whatever. You don’t know each other and yet sometimes you get to know parts of them that are altogether different selves than who they were in their real life. I’m really grateful to have had that with Hyper.
