Ok, so my uploading might get even more sporadic, cause I start working full time on Monday. So, that might not leave a whole lot of time to upload, but we'll see.
This was one of the flowers arranged down at the little garden where the crossing that's now at the Frog Bridge previously was. The arrangements are quite lovely. Carin informs me that this is a "hydrangea".

Hydrangea macrophylla - It was growing in an extremely sunny location in Putnam County, Carmel,NY. The flower heads were big and pink, blue, lavender or a mixture of these colors! It is also known as: lacecap hydrangea or mophead hydrangea or bigleaf hydrangea.

In the last year my Mom cut and dried over 100 hydrangea flowers from the garden and decorated this years Christmas tree with them. It’s quite a sight.
