Hydrangea ‘Vanilla Fraise’ is a large-flowering, repeat-blooming type that will produce masses of large white blooms that are truly attractive. Growing to 4-5ft tall, it will brighten up any shady part of your garden.
It flowers all summer long and a added beauty is that their white blooms gradually change colour to become a shrub, bearing a simply breath-taking display of very vibrant pink flowers.
I admired linfrye's hydrangea painting so much I asked her if I could use her photo and painting to practice negative painting. My paintings will never be as loose and painterly as Lins (I tend to overdo), but I reallu enoyed the negative painting. Here is the link to her painting: www.flickr.com/photos/linfrye/5880548848/
I brought this home this past week. I'm trying to find out what variety this hydrangea is. It was not labeled. I love the splotches of color.
