The flowers in the Pacific Northwest were fabulous. These gorgeous pink and fuschia colored hydrangeas were somewhere in the #Sequim area, but we saw them all over the Pacific Northwest.

One from the garden.. my favourite Hydrangea, so many shades and colours and beautiful dark purple stems.

Hydrangea macrophylla - It was growing in an extremely sunny location in Putnam County, Carmel,NY. The flower heads were big and blue! It is also known as: lacecap hydrangea or mophead hydrangea or bigleaf hydrangea.

That is the corner of the cottage that we stayed in while at Cape Cod. The beach was just a short walk away. Hydrangea is a common plant for Cape Cod gardens and yards. I can never get enough of them.
