This is the first spider we've discovered since moving into our new house. I thought I'd commemorate the occassion by taking some macro shots of it :-P
I was so good. I did not want my camera until I saw this. then I had to go and get my camera and an hour later I get back inside.
You know you're a photographer when the first thing you do after seeing one of these is go for the camera instead of a can of raid.
My wife asked me to deal with this and just as i was about to put a plastic box over it she said"they jump" errghhh i did it but i was terrified...what a wimp!!!
The tree out back is blossoming at the moment and is full of bees. Just saw an awesome battle between a Huntsman and a bee. They both lost.
colourful huntsman. possibly a badge huntsman but I did not know enough to check him underneath at the time
