My daughter-in-law getting a hug from Teddy on Christmas Day.

Beautiful here on Pine Mountain this time of year.

Near Cannon Beach, Oregon.

My last day in Thailand.

You have been a wonderful guest, your weather, people, food, landscape and culture are just so beautiful. If you are looking for a holiday with a difference come and visit the other parts of Thailand that the majority of tourists don't see, come and live amongst the locals, share their traditions with them, walk on the beach at sunrise with the Bhuddist monks, have a swim in the clear tropical water.

I will miss you #HugThailand

First stop over from our field triiiip. It was SO MUCH FUN. The sunrise was heavenly. :P

We went into this pitch black cave with flash lights and hiked for hoooours. We swam in one of the caves too. It was so exhausting yet very much worth it.

Roughing it out is definitely the way to go. xD I'm sooooo relieved that I didn't like break a leg or fall off the cliff. The worst thing that happened to me was that I got bitten by a red ant. LOL. On my pinky toe. HAHA.

Happy Flare Friday! HNFF!!!!!! HUGS! I must sleep now, waking up early takes a toll on you. So does not getting your coffee fix. x)

Note: Taken by my friend Lourdes, not me. lol. But I sorta positioned it. Haha.

My wife has had a number of these little wooden "hugs" during all the restrictions with hugs not being permitted she was handing these little "pocket hugs" to her friends.

Our restrictions are relaxing and effective this coming Monday we are allowed to hug family and friends, again .... our government specifically have stated "hugs are allowed!"

I'm just not sure if they know that there won't be any new toads from such hugs... .-)

here one of the boys jumped on our friend's hand :-)

I'll try to resist. :)

Her shirt actually said, "Hug Time."

This gentleman was so delightful! Stood and listened to him play for a bit, took some photos and then put a dollar in his sax case. He stopped playing, gave me the biggest smile and said "Hugs are free!" and then we hugged and I got teary eyed (because I'm a flaming sap) and then I went on my way. Delightful!!!

Dot Kitty by judibird and pal by Tara McPherson,

i believed that no one would approach a complete stranger for a hug, but i was very wrong... i guess more people than i thought need the love

after the initial shock, i really like watching people's reactions to Sung-woo, and they can't help smiling afterwards, even if they are doing it as a joke for their friends and a quick ceilphone picture. Sung-woo doesn't mind...

(yes...girls hugged him too)

*PLEASE LEAVE YOUR CRITICISM!* - kind words are great, but i am looking to improve my shots...

Sunset stroll in the port

It's been raining alot here in Florida, so all different types of mushrooms are popping up all over.

This afternoon I made a short stop at a local nature reserve. My intention was to look out for interesting insects. It wasn't the best day for such a task as there was a thunderstorm brewing but I decided to try my luck anyway. After a few minutes I spotted a white-legged damselfly. I sat down in the grass to wait if it would decide to land when out of the corner of my eye I noticed a movement. When I turned around I saw two eyes peeking around a leaf. I had to change my position to get a better view on the grasshopper but managed two quick shots before the grasshopper made a big jump and disappeared.

A beetle clinging on to the side of a leaf.
