A late September 2018 visit to Packwood House, another National Trust property. Been meaning to visit this one myself for a while now!
A nice cool Sunday afternoon to visit Packwood.
Packwood House is a timber-framed Tudor manor house near Lapworth, Warwickshire. Owned by the National Trust since 1941, the house is a Grade I listed building. It has a wealth of tapestries and fine furniture, and is known for the garden of yews.
The house began as a modest timber-framed farmhouse constructed for John Fetherston between 1556 and 1560. The last member of the Fetherston family died in 1876. In 1904 the house was purchased by Birmingham industrialist Alfred Ash. It was inherited by Graham Baron Ash (Baron in this case being a name not a title) in 1925, who spent the following two decades creating a house of Tudor character. He purchased an extensive collection of 16th- and 17th-century furniture, some obtained from nearby Baddesley Clinton. The great barn of the farm was converted into a Tudor-style hall with sprung floor for dancing, and was connected to the main house by the addition of a Long Gallery in 1931.
In 1941, Ash donated the house and gardens to the National Trust in memory of his parents but continued to live in the house until 1947 when he moved to Wingfield Castle.

Trim Castle is a Norman castle located on the south bank of the River Boyne in Trim, County Meath, Ireland. With an area of 30,000 m², it is the largest Cambro-Norman castle in Ireland. Over a period of 30 years, it was built by Hugh de Lacy, Lord of Meath and his son Walter as the caput of the Lordship of Meath.

La Iglesia de San Pedro de Teruel es una iglesia del siglo XIV perteneciente a la arquitectura mudéjar de Aragón, declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad. Su campanario, la torre de San Pedro, es el ejemplo más antiguo del mudéjar turolense y data del siglo XIII. El interior del templo fue decorado entre 1896 y 1902 en estilo modernista neomudéjar por Pablo Monguió Segura y el artista plástico Salvador Gisbert, que erigieron, además, un nuevo claustro. En una de sus capillas laterales yacieron los Amantes de Teruel. Desde 2005 se visitan en el Mausoleo de los Amantes, un espacio museístico construido anexo a la iglesia.
En 1220 dos discípulos de San Francisco de Asís, Juan de Perusa y Pedro de Saxoferrato, fundaron en Teruel un convento franciscano, cuya ermita de San Bartolomé fue derribada por orden del arzobispo de Zaragoza García Fernández de Heredia, para iniciar en 1392 la construcción de la iglesia que hoy contemplamos.
En 1555 se descubrieron las momias de los Amantes en el subsuelo de una de las capillas laterales, que a partir de ese momento estaría dedicada a capilla de los Amantes. En ella se alojó un retablo dedicado a San Cosme y San Damián esculpido por Gabriel Joli (artífice del retablo de la catedral turolense) antes de 1537.
Esta iglesia, de estilo gótico levantino y fábrica de cantería, tuvo adosado en origen un claustro, que fue derribado a finales del s.XIX para sustituirlo por otro neogótico entre 1901 y 1902 en cuya realización pudo intervenir el arquitecto Pablo Monguió.
La iglesia consta de una elevada nave única de cinco tramos con capillas laterales entre los contrafuertes, ábside poligonal y coro alto a los pies. Se cubre con bóvedas de crucería sencilla reforzadas por arcos fajones apuntados y transmite una gran sensación de unidad y amplitud.
En el hastial occidental del templo se abren un gran rosetón en la zona superior y la portada principal en la zona inferior, abierta por medio de un arco deprimido rectilíneo enmarcado por arquivoltas apuntadas y abocinadas rematadas por un gablete y flanqueadas por pináculos, mientras que la portada secundaria se localiza en el muro de la Epístola y es de estructura similar a la descrita, pero de menores proporciones.
En su construcción intervinieron Conrat Rey y Gonzalvo de Vilbo, maestros que trabajaban habitualmente para la familia Fernández de Heredia.
Fue declarada Bien de Interés Cultural el 3 de junio de 1931. La Unesco señaló la Iglesia de San Pedro como uno de los edificios representativos del conjunto mudéjar de Teruel, declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad en 1986,1

We tend to celebrate light in our pictures. Understanding how light interacts with the camera is paramount to the work we do. The temperature, intensity and source of light can wield different photography effect on the same subject or scene; add ISO, aperture and speed, the camera, the lens type, focal length and filters…the combination is varied ad multi-layered and if you know how to use them all, you will come to appreciate that all lights are useful, even those surrounded by a lot of darkness.
We are guided by three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, our longing to capture in print, that which is beautiful, the constant search for the one picture, and constant barrage of new equipment and style of photography. These passions, like great winds, have blown us across the globe in search of the one and we do understand the one we do look for might be this picture right here for someone else out there.

My Ride had a cold miss on cold mornings. It only missed for about 30 seconds then would run just fine. I figure it was needing a tune-up since it has over 135k miles and I'm sure it has never had one. Cost me around $50 in parts; a new distributor cap, ignition rotor, 6 spark plugs and spark plug wires. I bought them from NAPA. Took me a couple of hours. The hardest thing about it was the console cover. Pain to remove and install because of the carpeting.

The ECO Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013 (SS2013) or Season 5 (EFW05) line-up of sustainable, earth-loving and environmentally-friendly fashion designers includes Nicole Bridger, Standing Arm, Rise, Mala Imports, Voyou, Ressac, Respecterre, C5H8 and others. Value Village continues to support the event featuring designs by Nicolette Lang-Andersen, Mimi Lauzon and Tony Vu. Kim Cathers offers her unique brand of 68 Pound Challenge with Adhesif Clothing b y Melissa Ferreira closes the runway show on Thursday.
On Friday (Oct 19), the last day of the ECO Fashion Week SS2013 is a series of seminars covering a range of industry subjects such as labor, manufacturing, trends, upcycling, consumer awareness etc. with ECO Fashion Week CEO & Founder Myriam Laroche and other industry experts like Martin Hojsik (Greenpeace), Tara Sawatsky (Canopy) and others.
Eco fashion designers mostly use recycled, reclaimed and vintage fabrics for their clothing creation. As a result, a lot of the clothing designs are one-of-a-kind, or as designer Myco Anna describes hers, ‘every piece is unique in the way it combines new and recycled fabrics and fibers like a kaleidoscope.’ Some designers also give away scrap or surplus fabrics to other textile artists to utilize and work with, adhering to a totally no-waste and everything-recycled principle.

"Dawn Princess is a Sun class US-based cruise ship built in 1997 in Italy operated by Princess Cruises. The ship features eight restaurants, four swimming pools, five Jacuzzis, seven lounges and bars, and two children centres. This image was scanned from an item in the Williamson Collection of some 450 photographic glass slides and other items, which was acquired by the archives section of the Auchmuty Library. The collection was assembled by Archdeacon A. N. Williamson, who served for many years in the Diocese of Newcastle, as well as travelling extensively in the South Pacific area. The collection vividly portrays town and country life in Australia, particularly in Sydney and the Hunter Valley, soon after the turn of the century. The collection also illustrates life in Japan, Papua New Guinea, Nauru and Fiji, from the turn of the century until the mid-1930s.

SPARKIN should be spelled SPARKING, but I chose to spell it the way I pronounce it.
This is how I create language.
I grew up in urban environments and slang talk has always been my preferred way of expressing myself.
I always loved the level of creativity that could be applied to a language, and the power slang has in societies.
To COME BACK SPARKIN is to come back from a difficult situation while creating something absolutely beautiful out of it.
It is the act of overcoming an obstacle or obstacles no matter the level of difficulty.
We have the power as SuperHumans to take advantage of every situation.
In this song, I first remind myself, that I am the one who chooses to feel down or up, no one else:

I want to be clear that this is not an anti-money campaign, it is about understanding its role and purpose in our lives.
I do not claim to have the answers, what I do is invite others to my journey.
I recorded this song 3 years ago, and so, being that I have evolved a lot since, I chose to focus this music video on these lyrics and not the remainder of the song.
They no longer apply to who I am today like they did when I wrote them.
The Art Direction of this music video is a continuation of my project THE REBIRTH in which I created an imaginary world where the unreal becomes real.
The quality of this Music Video is very poor, the camera was old and busted, so this is what it is.
I think it's cool to have the quality this fucked up because it's such a huge contrast to crisp HD imagery.
