"Beauty in ordinary or common, everyday things."
Most of us might have a coffee table but here is one I'd like to share that is a bit uncommon. It is part of a set that my husband purchased over 30 years ago that was hand build and carved completely out of scrap plywood by a local artist who could surely see beauty in something common. It depicts a scene familiar here in the Pacific N.W.

Another one from my recent tiger adventure in South Africa.
This was shot on a late afternoon. It had been heavily overcast most of the day, but suddenly the sun appeared from below the clouds and brought everything to life. As cats do, this tiger immediately wanted to take advantage of the situation and climbed up a hill to find herself a nice spot on the rocks to enjoy the warmth.

als geschenk für claudia schiffer seine freundin. ein bild von ikea. ein bild mit den simpsons vorne drauf von ikea. er könnte auch zu cartier gehen, aber ein bild von ikea mit den simpsons drauf ist cool.riders on the storm läuft gerad im radio. der wetter bericht es wird regnen karl lagerfeld stoppt seinen bmw und springt hinaus das dach zu schließen. das wetter spielt verrückt, mal so mal so, mit dem wetter kann man nicht mehr rechnen. gerade fährt er am haus von johnny depp vorbei, der hat auch ein bild von ikea, er hat es aber selbst gekauft, das bild von ikea. johnny depp was an american gigolo wie einst richard gere. das dach vom bmw ist zu der bmw rollt an aber erst nachdem karl lagerfeld in seinen bmw geklettert ist. logisch ohne karl kann der bmw ja nicht fahren. bei johnny depp steht ein auto vor der tür. ein audi. man hätte diesem depp mehr zugetraut mindestens einen kleinen bmw. denn bmw is just the best. karl lagerfeld will denn nun wieder heim. bei ikea war er schon. das bild von ikea hat er auch schon das bild vversace ist im icq. und calvin klein sieht ihm dabei zu. versace plaudert über wikipdia im speziellen über sido. calvin klein wil auch ins icq doch wie ist der download für dieses on ikea für claudia schiffer er hat das bild in den kofferraum vom bmw gesperrt ein kofferraum mit einem bild von ikea mit den simpsons für claudia schiffer für was braucht claudia schiffer ein bild von ikea mit den simpsons drauf egal ikea ist gut und das bild auch und die simpsons noch mehr.

Weathered ship yard buildings illuminated by saturated colors of artificial lighting
I recently had a chance to return to this old ship yard facility near Vallejo, California to work on night photography. This is actually the place where I first tried out that genre approximately fifteen years ago. It was more or less on a whim — I read that someone was inviting photographers to come up to Mare Island, in conjunction with the annual Flyway Festival, and find out about night photography. I knew almost nothing about it, but decided to give it a try. Since that time I've been hooked. I've returned to photograph that locations often during the intervening decade and a half, and my night photography expanded from that beginning point to incorporate other subjects and places. (Most recently I have focused on night street photography done with small handheld cameras.)
This photograph is a prime example of several of the things that intrigue me about photographing at night. Scenes that might seem mundane in "normal" daylight are often transformed in the night. Not only do many distractions simply disappear, but the light itself, especially in areas with varied artificial illumination, transforms these subjects. In many places LED lights have replaced the wild mix of tungsten, fluorescent, sodium vapor, and other sources today — an unfortunate development in the visual sense, as LED light is more or less like daylight. But in places like this spot, the colors of the light become intense. Here it is the exceedingly green light of a large work light that predominates. Another appealing aspect of night photography is that it lets me make photographs of things that I really can't see with my own eyes. In the ambient lighting I could only barely see the details of this scene. But with a long exposure there is enough light to reveal features that I could not see at all, a pure example of "seeing what the camera sees."

I’m 38. I was born in Monza (near Milan).
I live in a smalltown near Senigallia, a little town on the Adriatic coast. Now I know my neighbors.
I love animals. All. So I HATE people who ill-treat animals: they’re miserable, cruel and stupid person.
My very favorite food is potatoes. And pizza. And pasta. And and and… ahem.
I love the sea and sun on my skin and tan (love love love summer!!).
I'd like to know more about photography, I am an amateur but I really like my Canon!
Dislike: being called Mrs, a growing awareness that its time to do only the right thing ;o)
I love the freedom to do what I want to do.
The Goal: spend new year's eve in an exotic location. But not tomorrow. sic.

For my sweet friend Pam - www.flickr.com/photos/printmaker_1/ , a great photographer, a pretty woman, an excellent student - she studies portuguese, and I'm her teacher!
Our cat had kittens 2 years ago I think it was...
it was a very cold morning with a freezing northern wind, we had just got up in the morning and opened our door to check if the cat wanted to come in....
We then heard some noises from the bushes in the garden..she had had 5 kittens, only one was alive, or so it seemed, I picked up one of the dead ones, it was really cold to the touch, with no sign of life, then I remember from watching Animal planet, that you could try and stroke them..
And so I started, holding him in my hands to keep him warm and gently squeezing and stroking him, I was about to give up when I sensed a movement in his tiny little body.
Encouraged by this I kept going, and picked up one more of the "dead" ones, I now had one in each hand, and slowly life returned to them both, this was a great moment, to feel life returning..I think I will remember this moment for as long as I live :))

To make my card, I inked a panel of white cardstock with four different shades of blue distress inks, applying the ink from lightest to darkest color. I splattered the inked panel with clear water and a small paintbrush. After the water dried, I sprayed the panel with white paint and set it aside to dry completely. While the paint was drying, I stamped, die cut, and watercolored four holly branches. Then, I secured the branches in pairs along the upper and lower edges of the dried panel. I added an embossed sentiment that I layered over a pair of vellum circles. I secured the finished panel to a green card base, trimmed it with a pair of narrow, dark green cardstock strips, and added a few blue pearls.
