A late June Storm Chase with fellow chaser Myles Nelson in the Eastern Plains of Colorado. Which would eventually takes us into Kansas and back into Nebraska.
We never did catch a tornado due the RFD getting undercut. Simply meaning that it wouldn't produce just south of Yuma Colorado via Hwy 59. Once the storm became outflow dominate it was picture perfect. We had made several stops on Hwy 36 Eastbound. Beautiful structure close to Kirk Colorado and south of Wray. Pure Storm chasing eye candy!!!
Once we got into Kansas by St. Francis and Bird City we were loosing light fast but the it was picture perfect for viewing this incredible storm cell.
We had a long drive back after the last light of the day and this storm was to intensify. It did, making our trip back a little more interesting than expected. This part is not on video, but we became the hunted as this storm really intensified. There was so much lighting being fired off we could see for miles and miles as the storm was picking up steam and moving to the northeast. Relentlessly following us on our heals ever inch of the way back we were getting concerned about out safely. Once we turned east via Hwy 89 back into the southwest portion of Nebraska, we came face to face with a Tornado on the ground close to Wilsonville and another possible one north of Beaver City. That was not in the plan for that evening and it definitely got our attention.

The beautiful villa was built at the end of XVII century by the Milanese marquis Giorgio Clerici in a natural basin between lake and mountains, facing the dolomite Grignas and the peninsula of Bellagio. The architect created for the Clericis an important but sober building, with an Italian garden decorated with sculptures, stairs and fountains.
In 1801 Gian Battista Sommariva, famous politician, businessman and patron of arts, bought the villa. Thanks to this owner the property in Tremezzo attained the summit of its splendour and became one of the most important halting-place of the Grand Tour. The villa became a temple of XIX century art with works of Canova, Thorvaldsen and Hayez: Palamedes, Eros and Psyche, Terpsychore, The last kiss of Romeo and Juliet are only some of the masterpieces that enriches the extraordinary collection. Under Sommariva part of the park was transformed in a fascinating romantic garden.
Sommariva's heirs sold the villa in 1843 to Princess Marianne of Nassau, Albert's of Prussia wife, who gave it as a present to her daughter Carlotta in occasion of her wedding with Georg II of Saxen-Meiningen. Hence the name Villa Carlotta. Very fond in botanic, Georg enriched the park, today of great historical and environmental value. Late August here in Nebraska. I usually would be chasing out in Western Nebraska Eastern Colorado this time of year. Mother Nature made it dry as a desert here. Record Heat & drought in 2022 on the plains of Nebraska. This was the ONLY storm that came into range for the whole month.
Gear was prepped & ready for a month....I was prepared that afternoon. A short jaunt to my east and then north. Irrigated Corn this time of year here is about 14 feet & it will be ready for harvest soon.
Had to find a good location where there was no tall corn. Found a hill with a perfect view. Lucky to find an open view with all that corn!
Though this didn't produce a tornado. Really good definition of a rotation wall cloud under this supercell. Glad I went out that day to capture these phenomenal snaps!

Las profecías de la venida del Señor se han cumplido, ¿quiere recibir Su segunda venida cuanto antes?
Ayer, una hermana dejó un comentario en nuestra publicación preguntando cómo acoger la segunda venida del Señor.
Yolanda dijo: “Ahora los desastres son frecuentes, lo que me recuerda lo que el Señor Jesús predijo sobre Su regerso, ‘Porque se levantará nación contra nación, y reino contra reino; y habrá pestilencias, y hambres, y terremotos por los lugares’ (Mateo 24:7-8). La llegada de los desastres es el cumplimiento de estas profecías. Creo que el Señor debería haber regresado, pero ¿cómo puedo dar la bienvenida a Él cuanto antes?”.
¡La pregunta planteada por la hermana Yolanda es muy crucial! De hecho, las palabras de Dios ya nos han indicado un camino exacto sobre cómo recibir al Señor.
El Señor Jesús dijo: “Mis ovejas oyen mi voz, y yo las conozco y me siguen” (Juan 10:27).
Y el Apocalipsis profetiza: “El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias” (Apocalipsis 2:7). “He aquí, yo estoy a la puerta y llamo; si alguno oye mi voz y abre la puerta, entraré a él, y cenaré con él y él conmigo” (Apocalipsis 3:20).
Dios dice: “Ya que estamos buscando las huellas de Dios, nos corresponde a nosotros buscar la voluntad de Dios, Sus palabras y declaraciones; porque dondequiera que haya nuevas palabras dichas por Dios, allí está la voz de Dios, y donde están las huellas de Dios, ahí están Sus hechos. Donde está la expresión de Dios, ahí aparece, y cuando aparece, ahí existe la verdad, el camino y la vida. Al buscar las huellas de Dios, habéis ignorado las palabras ‘Dios es la verdad, el camino y la vida’. Y así, muchas personas, incluso cuando reciben la verdad, no creen que han encontrado las huellas de Dios y mucho menos reconocen la aparición de Dios. ¡Qué error tan grave!”.
A partir de las palabras de Dios, podemos ver que el Señor vendrá a expresar palabras y que las ovejas de Dios saben oír Su voz. Todos los que sinceramente creen en Dios y anhelan Su aparición reconocen al Señor y lo reciben a través de escuchar Su voz. Al igual que la mujer samaritana, Pedro y Natanael, etc., quienes reconocieron y siguieron al Señor por haber escuchado Sus palabras. Hoy en día, algunas personas testifican que el Señor ha regresado y ha expresado todas las verdades para la salvación del hombre. Al enterarnos de esta noticia, deberíamos buscar e investigar activamente para escuchar si estas declaraciones son la voz de Dios, y cuando determinemos que sí, con aceptar y obedecer a Él, podremos dar la bienvenida al Señor.
