I was quite happy with autumn until the weather came back to its usual rainy mood. So maybe it's finally time to post, in remembrance of the nice sunny days we had since August, one of the very last LEGO photos from Hamburg.
Playing with lighting from Light My Bricks to create a cyberpunk corner of a galaxy far, far away.

I took this photo and then they came back a few minutes later and asked for a copy of the photo. The guy then offered to let me try his hoverboard and I accepted his offer. Immediately after stepping on the hoverboard I crashed into the concrete wall I had been sitting on and almost fell backwards. I thanked him for the opportunity to try it, but I told him it wasn't for me. I emailed the photo to him, but never got a response back, so I hope he typed his email address correctly, oh well.

Engine Room opens March 20th and we've got some nifty new things available. One of our three new products is the Vagabond Hoverboard. While I'm shooting this, I hear a wheelbarrow coming up behind me -- no uncommon sound, here, on the fringes of the swamp. (The swamp is one of the bigger depositories of garden waste in the area.) It's a teenage boy, on a hoverboard, dragging a wheeled bin. I say, I hear those things burst into flames. He says, Not this one, not yet. Very now, but it's nice to see that teenage boys still will not burn an unnecessary calorie, not on chores. Miss those days.
