Everything at home is abit of a mess at the minute (new heating getting installed) and I don't have access/can find anything..... so a quick experimenting with a new lighting technique.... abit of A4 to diffuse the big light in the room.

In February we went to the NASA Ames Research Center to attend the GoFly event, where teams from around the world displayed their flying motorcycles, hoverboards, human drones, and more.
The vehicles were on display just next to Hangar One, one of the world's largest freestanding structures, built in 1933 to house large airships. A few years back the exterior panels were removed due to toxic materials, including lead paint and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). The hangar is a well known landmark in the Silicon Valley; personally I prefer the "naked look."
I processed a paintery, a balanced, and a photographic HDR photo from three RAW exposures, blended them selectively, carefully adjusted the color balance and curves, and desaturated the image. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

I went out for a sunset at my favorite pier on New Year's Day. It was a low tide and there wasn't one spot of smooth sand anywhere on the beach. Turns out I wasn't the only one with that idea.
It is funny to look back at the old science fiction movies to see the prediction fails for 2015.

This one is another photo that required some tricky construction. In order to make Marty and his hoverboard float long enough to take photos, I built some sort of plastic raft. I attached two transparent bars under the hoverboard, and at the tip of each of them a few black plates that come with the CMF.
I finally finished my end of a trade with Jared/Jerdfigs, Doc and Marty in their 2015 attire from Back to the Future Part II. It's been awhile since I have seen BTTF, so making these guys was a nice surprise.
Marty McFly
"Nobody calls me chicken."
Out of the two, Marty was the most difficult because of those damn Nike power lacing Air Mags. Took me like 3 drafts to get a design right and to get the paint to dry (mostly) correctly. Shoutout to MooseMan for helping me design the kicks.
He also has some fabric glue to the legs for the inside out pockets. The jacket and pockets are fabric the painted. The arms have the inflator/extender seams painted on and e-tape straps. The head is the TLG head, and the hat/hair combo was custom made.
Sadly I don't have a Hoverboard but Jared has one, so it works out.
Doc Brown
"Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads."
Doc was kind of simple on the other hand.
I painted his boots with laces on, skipped on the green socks (looked goofy), and painted the shirt. The clear tie is a cut piece of flexible plastic.
The coat is a modified CapeMadness trench coat. Head and hair is TLG.
Unfortunately I don't have any watches for Doc, but Jared has a pair that he'll put on.
I did however make his silver glasses out of a pop can, and those can be removed from the head. They're wedged between the head and hair.
