My brain kinda not working today. No good idea came out but still want to put together something quickly.
ps. may be i need to add more :) before this photo, i spent a lot of time working with two other subjects without any satisfactory result. so in the end i just put this bass, which was on the shelf next to me, on silver reflector that i used for other things. then come two sb-800s. and then color gel. now you see this.
The Mohave Western Pondhawk is one of the most dangerous dragonflies in Arizona. It is easy to spot, look for the sparkling wings. If you listen very carefully you can even hear the rattle in the tail just before it STRIKES! Or is it tale, just before it strikes?
Cop-o-Tea. It is the easiest thing to make in my dorm room that is warm and tasty. For those of you wondering it is Tazo Passion and Wild Sweet Orange mixed together, it is very good.
A little experiment with the nu lenses.

"Scharf" in german means hot/spicy aswell as sharp...

He got a little too close to the flame :(
I melted the tip of his water cannon and almost set the whole thing ablaze!

Start of a series of matches, captured the exact moment their firing up :)
Strobist information:
In this setup i've used two Canon Speedlite 420EX flashes to light the scene, while having a candle for orientation, since no other lights where on in the room.
One flash was positioned zoomed wide, on the bottom right side behind and below the match stick to light the smoke and upper edge of the stick.
The other one on the bottom left side to light the stick from the front (Attached was a selfmade snoot to block the light from hitting the black background, wich was a piece of thin foam, hanging down from a microphone stand :P).
