this Hot Spring is very deep, and the story goes that people used to go scuba diving in it, and that it opens up into under water chambers, but someone drowned and so they grated the bottom so no one else can go down there. I don't know if thats true, but that is what I have heard chatting with other Hot Springers, who are a rather eccentric bunch, my self included.
.. the boss's daughter showed off her Halloween costume at work yesterday. She looked like Harry Potter's sister... and I didn't miss anything... aha... well, that's good then... 😎

The upper terrace of Canary Hot Spring, part of the Mammoth Hot Springs area of Yellowstone National Park. This area changes rapidly so it's always interesting to go back to it and see what Mother Nature has done lately. This is a bacteria only hot tub, too warm for humans.
A wiri wiri hot pepper (chili) plant that grew up spontaneously in a hanging basket in my garden. Georgetown, Guyana, South America. It is one of the most used types of hot pepper in Guyana and has to be picked quickly before the birds swallow them whole.

The resort is a tourist destination situated in the vicinity of the massive Mt. Mailing National Park and the Philippines'largest lake, Laguna Bay.
Spread over seven hectares of land, it features 11 outdoor pools and hot springs. It also has 60 family rooms with native architectural styles, restaurants, and nice landscaped gardens. In addition, the resort offers some services and other amenities which make it a wholesale place for a weekend retreat.

And I keep forgetting to mention it, but I'll be in Berlin from August 6th 'till the 13th, in case anyone wants to go around the city with me :) After that, I'll spend a few days going around Romenia with a fellow photographer friend who used to be flickr famous haha
Just how hot is this single load? (2500 degrees would be the answer!) Back when the NS assigned the "pups" to the hot metal train, with one of each end to avoid the run around move at Riverdale, the train is seen on the IHB just south of Grasselli Tower.

My 'Hot Pink' azalea image. Photographed in the late afternoon sun at the Campbell Rhododendron Gardens, at Blackheath, in the Blue Mountains - on Sunday 4th October, 2020.
This was the very last of the sun filtering through the tall eucalyptus trees that provide a canopy of shade for these 'cool climate' gardens of azaleas and rhododendrons.
