Walkers strolling along the Boardwalk in the Yellowstone's Midway Geyser Basin. The Grand Prismatic Spring is magnificent as seen from the chalky, steep, treacherous hill to it's SW.
The Opal and Turquoise pools are above it with the Excelsior pool steaming to the right.

Hot air ballooning near Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Pagosa Springs sits in a valley surrounded by beautiful mountains, providing a dramatic backdrop for the balloons.

There was so much bouncing green and yellow light in this hidden grove, but it would not translate on my DSLR sensor...
I was carrying a handful of filters and fortunately this 5N5 brought forth all that delicious lighting.

Yellowstone's Norris Geyser Basin is the hottest spot in the park, closest to the hot magma not far below. Pictured here is the Colloidal Pool in the Porcelain Basin of this large geothermal wonder.
Quite the memorable experience walking thru here with all the geysers, boiling pools and fumaroles belching sulphuric steam. I found it a bit eerie, yet can't wait to return.....

Getting ready for 2 inspection then we can pull it all apart to paint and upholstery and final build
This greenhouse caught my attention and offered an ideal photo opportunity.Wonderful depth, shadows and plenty of lines and diagonals in the structure.The glass roof reflecting the plants on the benches.The only thing the image doesn't portray is the heat of the hot house. Taken at the National Trust property at Tyntesfield House.

These dice are smoking hot, let it ride!!!!
1-7/8 inch by 2-3/16 inch frame. Really tough to get a macro of smoke without the reference point half a dice with smoke raising around it.
