of golden daffodils.
Too cold today to be outside long but I stopped to get a shot of this beautiful display of daffodils. Pure sunshine on a gray day!!
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Blooming in my yard. Also called Maypop. Fruit is edible. Flower only lasts one day. Host plant for Florida Fritillary Butterfly
I'm grateful for all of the people who hosted me during my travels!
Summer 2019 I did a solo cycling tour across Europe through 12 countries over the course of 3 months. I began my adventure in Edinburgh, Scotland and finished in Florence, Italy cycling 8,816 km. During my trip I took 47,000 photos.

I had the pleasure of hosting David Talley and Triston Lane at my house in San Diego this weekend. I took them to some of my favorite photo beaches down here for some unforgettable adventures. All in all there was little sleeping and a lot of exploring.
This particular photo day was a little hectic...amazingly we managed to squeeze in three separately directed shoots in the span of 30 minutes before the sun completely disappeared. We dragged about 30 lbs of gear and props down a cliff to get to the beach to boot.
I was the last to shoot my photo, but I'm happy it ended up that way. I had about 10 minutes to light candles and shoot before I ran out of light. We hiked back up the cliff, exhausted and sweaty, in near darkness. It was so worth it. :)
The weather has been like "Lonkero weather". It's all grey with very limited sunlight if even any. Dark and gloomy.
Cygnus X hosts many young stellar groupings. The combined outflows and ultraviolet radiation from the region's numerous massive stars have heated and pushed gas away from the clusters, producing cavities of hot, lower-density gas.
In this 8-micron infrared image, ridges of denser gas mark the boundaries of the cavities. Bright spots within these ridges show where stars are forming today.

I suspect this friendly looking fellow is an Alpaca, which is a species of South American camelid. But I may be wrong.
Taken during the tour around Walter Peak Farm, on the shore of Lake Wakatipu, South Island, New Zealand
We were taken onboard the vintage steamship TSS Earnslaw from Queenstown for a pleasant cruise on Lake Wakatipu, disembarking at Walter Peak Farm for an afternoon tea with scones and coffee and a leisurely tour around the farm.
