Another Puffin with its beak crammed with fish for its chicks , i would loved to see what the chicks looked like but they nest underground so they were out of site

These are a common sight all over Kent, also called Oast Houses they were and are used for drying hops.
FAVERSHAM ( KENT England) annual 'Hop Festival' HOPS are used in BEER Brewing so there was plenty of BEER to be had ! also various other 'Characters' to snap, stage shows etc MINOLTA DYNAX 4 , 2005 outdated TUDOR 100 ( FUJI) film and flash fill-in used where necessary
These are growing in my back yard. Our area grows a lot of hops, used in beer and medicines...mostly beer. The harvesting process is pretty interesting.

DC4058 is captured running bonnet-first on the East Coast Trunk line at Ruakura. The loco will shortly diverge from the main line and take the Cambridge branch to the dairy works at Hautapu, where it will collect loaded wagons and return with them to Te Rapa yard in Hamilton. These wagons will then form part of a longer train bound for Tauranga Port.
De Hop is een opvallende vogel met beige, veel zwart/wit en een grote kuif op z'n kop. Het grootste deel van de tijd brengt hij op de grond door op zoek naar larven en insecten.

Brou is a small town in the "perche" region. not far from Paris.
Seen operating the final Hop 122 of the 2019 season is Gary the Rabbit, the mascot of the Hop 122. This wasn't a spectacular send off, nor the best photo, but it was nice getting some long exposures this evening with these as the focal point, even without a tripod.
