The days when all girls needed for exercise and fun was a plastic hoop and plimsolls.
The modern hula hoop was invented in 1958 by Arthur K. Melin and Richard Knerr
Taken with the Agfa Rapid camera using Agfa Rapid film 80-ASA.
Developed at home using a modified C-41 kit.
Hoop, There It Is
Having grown up in Indiana where basketball is held in high esteem, I could not resist taking this image of a basketball goal and adding some digital magic to it. I loved the partly cloudy blue sky behind the goal as it added just the right touch. Cheers!

Soo Line FP7A and some vintage passenger cars were posing for order to be hooped up at Dresser during a photo charter on the Osceola and St. Croix Valley Railway, a heritage railroad in Osceola, Wisconsin owned and operated by the Minnesota Transportation Museum.
It operates on former Minneapolis, St. Paul and Sault Ste. Marie Railroad ("Soo Line") trackage now owned by the Canadian National Railway.

Made with all felt, cotton fabric back.
Hoop is about 6 1/2 inches in diameter.
