Took Hoopers Inlet Road back on our way to Dunedin. Quite slow as most of it was not sealed. Nice road to see rural NZ with very beautiful land it snakes it's way through.

The game of basketball was once pretty important to the family that once lived in this long abandoned farmhouse in northern Illinois. Kind of hard to practice dribbling skills in the dirt though....

Well Worn. As the breeze blowing what's left of the net one direction the shadow falls opposite. The hoop is 5 feet off the ground having been placed for the joy of children.

Pure joy to watch the artistry that these Native American dancers displayed at this Powwow. These men dancers are brothers. The fabulous colors, the drummers and the pure excitement that one feels just being here. If you haven’t been to a Powwow you owe it to yourself to see it, hear it and enjoy the food and hand made items being offered for sale. Thanks for viewing my work. I was so happy that I found this game this morning. Yesterday I watched a video on how to make my own hoop but don't have the time. I have so many more ideas but am limited to creating the images for which I can find the props.

I think she may get a technical called for hanging on the rim ;).

The black hoops seen from above on a snowy day seem almost like a x-ray to me...

Hooper spent the first three years of his life wandering on a military base when someone finally scooped him up when they heard they were killing the stray cats. Hooper was dropped off at Petco where my wife was helping with pet adoption. She said we would foster him. He was a rough looking cat with one eye and crinkled ear but he had a special charm to him. So he stayed and lived for 12 more years.
