S.Grundon of Hayes End, West London MAN 26.240 6x4 hooklift C930RPG seen at work in 1986 when still fairly new.

I was told this chassis was originally destined for South Africa and the tube type wheels & tyres it has fitted would back this up.

I daresay this probably ended up being exported to Africa anyway after its working life with the Grundon Group was over?

The two Tundra Swans above were watching two other Tundra Swans coming in for a landing at Bombay Hook NWR, Delaware.

The two Swans above were making a lot of noise and flapping their wings as the two incoming Swans passed overhead.

A great evening on Hook Head Co. Wexford in Ireland. Hook lighthouse is the second oldest functional lighthouse in the world.

Mental Note: Dress warmer next time...

Looked like this storm would pass just to the north, but a few minutes later it was right over me.

They couldn't think of a better name?

A harsh reality of irresponsible anglers who left their fish hooks lying around at its habitat.

Seen in the washrooms

On the wall someone had written

"coat hook NEEDED"

to which someone had replied

"NOT OUR no 1 PRIORITY, MATE"

to which another reply had been added

"No 1 PRIORITY - SKIVING"

so I guess this is when someone drew the coat hook.

It made me laugh for some reason.

Thought I'd post this one as a record/reference shot of the little fella's beak, as it seems a good way to track/ID where/if I see him again...

Rising out of the mist like a steampunk fever dream! But seriously, this is a great brewery and I highly recommend visiting and taking a tour if you're in the area.

East Boston, MA

Back to Bombay Hook for sunrise this morning and wasn't disappointed. It was hot and humid and the bugs were bad but if you can get beyond all that, you can usually come home with a few good pictures.

VIEW LARGE.....it's worth the extra click.

Both are thrift shop finds...
