I got this set of hooks from someone in our neighborhood "Buy Nothing" group in July. We finally got it hung in the mudroom the day before school started. Now, Evan can hang up his own backpack and jacket.

I know, pretty picture, but it's an ugly subject. This asshat hooking up the blue & white runabout was a real jerk. First he was yelling at me about not wanting any pictures of his boat. (Like that was going to stop me...) Then after he got the thing out of the water, he was laughing at his girlfriend for being seasick, taking photos of her every time she hurled while his 8 or 9 year old daughter was yelling at him to stop and help. My guess is that he's hiding the boat from his ex-wife or the IRS (or both). So here's your damn boat picture, butthead- for God & everybody to see.
This is what i did while awaited the craft council jury session. : ) My first rug with quilt fabric scraps! I LOVE IT!
Reclaimed Wooden Hooks
These striking rows of hooks are handmade from reclaimed wood. The wood has been collected from old Colonial and Indian houses and warehouses. Each row is unique, coloured by the original finish of the reclaimed wooden board it has been made from.

These are the best crochet hooks I've ever used! They are Susan Bates bamboo handle hooks. I can crochet for hours with these and never get cramps in my hand. I'm in love!
