This location opened in the mid 2000s; it was originally an HQ, which opened in August 1987 and relocated here on July 1st, 1993. It became a Hills on March 10th, 1995 and an Ames on July 22nd, 1999, which closed in October 2001.
I am creating a home for my lovely husband and I. I would never have been able to do it if I still worked full time. Since I have quit my job, I made myself healthy again, conquered hoarding tendencies and got rid of several truck loads of stuff, painted the bedroom, most of the dining and living room, have the hallway taped off and ready to go, have paint samples for the kitchen, curtains made for the windows, replaced all the old windows, made a home office, and now we are hiring a landscaper to get our yard in shape. We are going to have an edible landscape. :D No more lawn to battle with, well maybe a small patch, nothing we need a big lawn mower for.
Creating a home.
Next on the list is solar panels, finishing up the painting, and relaxing in the home we created.
I went home today and i had to get the full 360 degree view from the field next to the house. its on the top of a hill so there is a clear skyline all the way around which i miss when I'm in the city.
Its best viewed on the larger size
Or you can use the excellent SPi-V 360 view.
i had to scale it down from the 30 megapixel psd of the original image.

I snapped this photo along North Ninth Street in Salina, Kansas. These mobile homes appear to range in age from the mid 1970's through the early 1990's.
Polly enjoying having some new photos today :)
Slowly, slowly kitting out the home studio :)
The background is in, the lights all work its just a case of getting the floor laid and a swing arm for the softbox mounted up nicely...
Thanks to Carsten for his help today with ideas and also suggesting the cloud gobo.
Strobist: gobo gun for background clouds, softbox camera left and gridded spot camera right.
