Hinges? After removing the pin in the hinge I could finally rip out this window... only to find a strange screen... strange indeed!

The problem with this trigger. Difficult to stick a tiny hinge on an aluminum L-bracket. Was Krazy Glued at this point. One drop, and of it popped. Have tried a few other adhesives, none have held. The residue from said attempts, and a wire through the screw holes twisted tight now hold the 'boom' in place. New trigger is in the works.

Someone mentioned trying more macro shots at the reservoir and I found myself agreeing. They're more texture studies than anything, but I think they came out nicely.

All control surfaces come hinged. Graupner uses pins shown here to maximize the security of the hinge installation. Another high quality touch.

Such dated panels with associated metalwork is great for helping to date fixtures such as this that carry over quite a large time period. Note that this hinge has five nails each side to secure it.

I wonder what used to hang from this elegant ironwork?

I went back out into the field where I shot Hinge (see my Monochrome set) and shot some color. Amazing to see that the stuff was still there after 3 years.

Ladder hinge, almost got my finger last year
