A wonderful hinge on the door at Thiron-Gardais abbey - really beautifully made, even though, in the nature of things, relatively few people would ever see it (if the door was closed) or notice it.
The section of the arch changes in places. At this point of change is what looks to be the hanging point for a door. Without for info, I can't see what the doors would have been for at this point.

The font is a huge edifice in one of the side aisles, with ornately carved doors enclosing it. This is a little detail. Ref: D326-078
The beautiful bright sunlight falling on the two porch doors to the pretty little church of St Arilda in Oldbury-on-Severn caught my eye, particularly the way that it seemed to bring the burgeoning springtime colours and growth into the church itself.
