she taught him how to sign "i love you" while they were in line waiting to have their tickets and luggage checked.......... poor little P&S was herniating trying to get a picture at a distance and with backlighting
Caught him again later on during the day in a different part of town, it seems i was always catching a glimpse of the fellow as i never actually heard him play his acoustic.

Went to Texas for 2 weeks in May for a Cob Workshop Work Exchange. We built the Foudation~Best adventure in a long time!
Found this little guy on a road behind my housing complex, playing chicken with some cars. Saved him and brought him back to my house and tried feeding him for a while. He was too frightened to come out of his shell for a decent face picture. Eventually gave up and let him free in the local swamp, which is where this picture was taken. Looking back at it now, I wish I would have used a higher aperture to focus on his whole shell.
Rorschach and Wolfwood got into a mini-battle of sorts. They had guns pointed at each other and everything. I had to break them up.
I'm not sure what really sparked the conflict, but I think it had something to do with the traveling confessional. And Rorschach being pissed off.

Oranges with lemon juice and antipasto style rotelle with pepperoni.
The purple fringing kind of annoys me but that happened in all the pictures. It's not as noticeable in this one.

For those of you who are nerdy like me, you are familiar with the term I used in the title of this photo. I was strolling to the Tidal Basin when in DC and passed a tulip patch. This gal was in a patch of tulips and the ends of the petals reminded me of the projections on the wall of the intestine...I warned you I was a nerd.
So it's back to reality. I already miss vacation days. Because I didn't feel like a complete failure if nothing I had planned was accomplished. I was on vacation, so it didn't matter. Take today. I was planning on getting a bunch caught up at work. But, luckily, I checked my work email after getting home from the airport and before going to bed...at 1245 am. I had an email, sent yesterday afternoon, that said I had to be at a mandatory brief to get my orders to move at 0830 the very next morning...nothing like a bit of warning. So, of course, that just threw the rest of my day off. When I finally got to work, I tried to get even an item done on my "to do" list and that didn't happen...
It didn't help that the afternoon ended with giving a client bad news and fighting with the hospital over who is supposed to see me. All I want is for someone to finally do some diagnostics on my back so I don't feel so broke anymore...
But on a good note, I have my pup back (and my cat too). I found out I may get to stop over at home this summer and it not count as my "free travel" for going from overseas-to-overseas, and...well those are the good notes. So with that, I'm going to head to bed with the pets and fall asleep with the Boy before he has to get up and go to work...back to opposite schedules...
