This Fowler DN1 10 Ton Steam Roller is 100 years old being built in 1924. It spent most of it's life working in Aberdeen, Scotland. Reg No. AV45.

The little one was separated from the group and yelling scared. Then the mom came, calmed it down and guided back it back to the group.
I just saw the movie on the TV a couple of weeks ago. Classic movie. I was surprised to see the "Eilean Donan Castle" there. Nice that I took a photo of this castle too!

The Highlanders, 4th Battalion, Royal Regiment of Scotland (4 SCOTS) is an infantry battalion of the Royal Regiment of Scotland.
Prior to 28 March 2006, the Highlanders was an infantry regiment in its own right; The Highlanders (Seaforth, Gordons and Camerons), part of the Scottish Division. The regiment was the only one in the British Army with a Gaelic motto - Cuidich 'n Righ which means "Help the King".
Who needs sun for a nice hike? The weather was not that great but still testing some new gear.
I went for a hike around the Gasterse Duinen reserve.
Had a few drops of rain but that didn't matter. It was a nice hike for some tests with our newly added gear.

Eilean Donan Castle befindet sich am Loch Duich in den westlichen schottischen Highlands. Die Burg liegt auf einer kleinen Landzunge, die bei Flut zu einer winzigen Insel wird. Sie ist dann nur durch eine steinerne Fußgängerbrücke zu erreichen. Die Burg ist der Stammsitz des schottischen Clans der Macrae.
