Although these two ties look pretty similar, they cost drastically different amounts. The one on the left from The Tie Bar retails at $15, as opposed to the more quality built Brooks Brothers tie on the right that costs roughly $80. Both ties get the job done, but the Brooks tie carries a greater sense of importance.

This has been an ongoing project for a little while where I had the inspiration from a sci-fi book to create a futuristic setting and had several ideas of what it would become ranging from a advertisement of a film to a cyber punk band tour poster, but I decided to go with a poster that represents a viewpoint of myself for an ideal future, where everyone is of equal status. The upside down triangle is a way of showing in my ideal future todays social hierarchy is to be flipped making the majority on top for a period until we are at such a place where we can all be seen as equals.
