Tucked away in a estuary at Salcombe in Devon, I found this boathouse which I have called "The Hideaway". The over hanging branches help to give this impression. I can image someone chilling out here and the two boats seem to indicate that someone was doing just that. The yellow of the rapeseed field helps the composition of the photograph/

Land : Ambiance Hideaway
A shot I have been sitting on for a few months as I was debating on if I liked it. From the shores of Loch Ard.
after driving through cockermouth in thick fog i thought id try my luck and carry on down to loughrigg hoping for more of the same. unfortunately there wasnt a single wisp to be seen. so i drove all the way back and had a walk up low fell near loweswater. plenty of mist was still lingering and made for some nice compositions.
This is a shot from past the main tube of The Subway in the backcountry of Utah's Zion National Park. I loved this area--so cut and shaped from water flowing through it for so long. Paradise.
A little further down is Keyhole Falls--I'll save those shots for another day. What a beautiful little waterfall!

This is the cottage hideaway during the work week. I have been adding little touches to it - small lamps, vessels for flowers, lace hangings, and some things I have found in the garden and repurposed. I've finally shot another photo for this mirror series, and finally figured out where I'm going with it too! Hopefully it'll progress a lot faster now.
So this is my official 'last self portrait of being 20' photo, I suppose, and I meant to upload it before my birthday but as always spent about a week editing it (mostly testing out different sky photos to be honest).

The Hawaii name of this beach is Kenomene Beach, but it’s usually just called Hideaways Beach, or the Pali Ke Kua Beach. However, Pali Ke Kua beach is considered by us as a separate beach because access is different. But they are connected by a large rock outcropping, so you can swim between them easily. Hideaways isn’t so hidden nowadays, but it’s still a great Princeville beach to visit. Hideaways Beach is near Pali Ke Kau Condos and the St. Regis Resort in Princeville. Beware, to get to this beach you must hike down a steep rocky path. There are metal hand rails and ropes, and you will need them (however beware of sharp rusty edges). On the other side of the handrails are deep drop offs. But all this work is worth the reward. When muddy, take extra time getting down, it is slippery.
