These little wrapped gifts were in the box with Harper. I unwrapped Harper first and was so excited after unwrapping her I quickly went outside to take a few quick photos.
Now I am back and have a few minutes before we leave the house to unwrap them. But they are wrapped so cute I didn't want to open them!!!
I was also thinking to myself, "Hurry quick...hide them before the kids find them and eat them all!" That is so awful of me not to share huh? LOL.
Thank you again Nicole for all of the sweet little goodies you so thoughtfully wrapped up to travel with Harper. Thanks for making my birthday gift extra special.
Ted hides behind the bedroom curtains, but doesn't realise that even though HE can't see YOU, you can still see him!

Moth moving, a goodbye tea-party with lots of cake, a pop to my favourite camera store of the moment and pints at the pub.
As another round of hide and seeks commences, I look over our home owner's insurance policy to make sure it covers kids falling down our stairs.
I don't know what species this is, and unfortunately I did not get a good photo. This was a very skittish bird.
Hopefully someone out there can tell me. This was a first for me, heading out with the intent of bird watching. I mean I always look for birds when I am out, however, this morning I decided to go to a place where I have been seeing that others have been finding a variety of birds to watch and photograph. I had hoped to see the American Bitterns others have seen. No luck .... yet.
When I was little we used to play hide & seek on my grandparent's farm. If you never wanted to be found, the granary was where you wanted to be. I remember going inside of it once - and then never again. It was scary and full of mice, and maybe monsters.
As you can see, I didn't go inside this time either. I just stood at the door and peeked in. It looks just like I remember it looking 30 years ago.
