A spectacle that you often see on Madeira when it is clouded. However most part of the year the sky is often clear above Madeira Island, when it gets clouded the sun likes to play 'hide-n-seek' with the clouds and the ocean.

The hide is about 8m x 4m, with two corners cut off and it is situated in the lake. There is a moat around the hide about 700mm deep. The hide is supported on a galvanized grid of steelwork resting on the lake bed. To get to the hide across the moat you have to use a swing bridge. The bridge is galvanized.
The beautiful colors of Calcite Springs hide a secret. The heat of underground fractures releases deposits of oil from rocks deep below the surface to slowly and sporatically seep to the surface.
The springs are hot enough at depth to liquefy large quantities of sulfur that are found here. Occasionally, the molten sulfur oozes to the surface where it flows like molasses.
Because contact with air causes the liquid sulfur to turn black, it is impossible to tell just by looking if the dark areas are oil or sulfur.
Calcite Springs was named for the milky-white calcite crystals that cover the area. Mixed in with the calcite are translucent, honey-colored barite crystals. Inside the conduits of the hot spring are beautiful but smelly yellow sulfur crystals.
It was my first day for Rakaposhi base camp trek. While i headed toward the base camp from Minapin, i kept observing this peak right behind me that kept playing hide and seek with the clouds. Such moments are impossible to be described in words, difficult to capture but yet very sensitive to observe
Double-leafs tulip which grows in mysterious ways. At this particular tulip, the stem is covered by a small petal. Some other tulips have dark blue leaf edges as if they once were part of the pollen but outgrew them somehow. I really enjoyed having them, they looked amazing and their scent remained lovely till the end.

After some hesitation, I decided to crop a bit at the left, furthermore it is a SOOC.
The picture is taken on an assignment for a magazine to go with a feature about the childhood memories of an old lady.
The model is my daughter and the location is a traditional old styled house near my residence.
A picture taken in my own garden showing Amsonia hubrichtii that, when it grows bigger will give a autumn spectacle. I leave the leaves lying about for the many frogs and tods to hide under from neighboring cats and the sun.

The good thing about shooting after a snowy/rainy day is that you
have many puddles to find reflections in.

Taken on a recent family photoshoot in Salcey Forest, I love this shot of gorgeous Melissa playing hide and sek behind one of the many trees.
I just wish we'd had a pair of fairy wings as I think they would've looked fantastic used as a prop in this shot.
Salcey Forest is so beautiful and perfect for a lovely outdoors photoshoot. I'll definitely be going back there soon.
Not actually hide and seek, actually a test to see who Bonnie loves more by me and my mum calling her simultaneously...............I lost, as you can see! :)

this time when i was walking i find this cardboard image of a lady in sexy lingerie, the owners it was kind of hide but the but was estrategicaly located for every body to see.

At a hostel in Kiev. I'd been awake all night and walking for 6 hours before finding this place and desperate for sleep. Photo came first.
