I broke out our point & shoot (Canon A80) to play around with; it's the camera that got me into digital photography. I think something is wrong with the CCD, because all the other pics had magenta streaks across them. I did manage to get this clear shot of the raindrops on the windshield of my truck, against the gray November sky.
This tiny hummingbird nest is only an inch and a half wide and deep ans very hard to spot.

On a visit to the Jones Library, movie producer Eric King gave Dayton Mayor Felix Skarpa a signed copy of his latest DVD release, Hiding in Plain Sight.
Nikon F4, Nikon 50mm f/1.8D, Ilford HP5 ISO 400 film, 1/3000 second exposure at f/2 in aperture priority mode. Developed with Kodak D-76.
When I ordered a few rolls of Ilford 120 film from Adorama they sent along a free roll of 35mm. Many thanks to my good buddy Jeff who let me borrow his Nikon F4 to shoot it with. This film is quite contrasty, but I'm fairly happy with the results.
Title says it all - the surviellance cameras disguised as street lights, the nationalistic symbols, etc. It's a statement I guess.
It wanna be a gorge just like the Columbia Gorge. I don't know if I'll stick around to complete a before and after set. Little water fall I bet people would love to see you in a big picture.

Boy I was hungry! Yes that’s fried catfish and slaw and yes that receipt you see is correct: the North Carolina State Legislative Building serves lunch! This elegant building, designed by architect Edward Durell Stone and opened in 1963 has a cafeteria in the basement that is open to the public! The food is inexpensive and delicious, and you can look up their daily menu on their website at ncleg.net. Good morning everyone! I’m kind of enjoying a little downtime from the hot sun, but this overcast weather makes it so hard to get up and get going! My name is Christina and I originally moved to Raleigh to attend school. I stayed. Then I had to move! Fortunately I was able to move back in 2008 and boy what a difference a decade made! Let’s just say that when I moved, the only reason people drove down Glenwood South at night was to get to Char-Grill! Anyway, here I am! Pictured is my house and I’m on my way out the door. My family and I live in a modernist home in West Raleigh. My family and I love to spend time at Lake Raleigh, located on Centennial Campus in the shadow of the gleaming new James B. Hunt Library, an architectural marvel! I know Lake Raleigh was highlighted the other day, but I wanted to let you know about another hidden gem: there’s a delightful garden tucked just behind the dam, tended by State students. They are sweet and patient and will answer a 5-year-old’s questions all day long!
