Le héron cocoi vit en Amérique du Sud. Celui-ci est photographié dans les Lianos au Venezuela. Ce domaine marécageux regorge de poissons favorisant une nourriture abondante que le cocoi partage avec d'autres nombreuses espèces d'oiseaux ainsi que des caïmans et crocodiles.
The cocoi heron lives in South America. This one is photographed in the Lianos in Venezuela. This marshy area is teeming with fish, providing abundant food, which the cocoi shares with numerous other bird species, as well as caimans and crocodiles.
I've noticed grey herons starting to use different places at Summer Leys with this bird a perfect example. I'm not sure if these are new birds or whether there are so many herons that birds are being pushed into different areas

Herons are never far away when frogs are spawning at Lagan Meadows, although I've never seen one catch a frog!
There were 7 Blue Herons lined up fishing the stream coming from Lake Waco after the flood gates were opened. They were having pretty good luck.

WHO IS A CLEVER GREEDY HERON!
Saw the squacco, make the stab at its prey and came up with two fish! it then hurried away so the fish could return to water, before being devoured, the second fish looks a bit different, this was within a hundred yards of my Hotel the Palm Beach
