Usually I automatically delete pics w/ glare. In this picture, though I think it helps highlight the action in the middle.
Not the world's most helpful sign. I come to a fork in the path, and this sign tells me that if I take the left path I will be on the Oak Leaf Trail. And if I take the right path I will...umm...also be on the Oak Leaf Trail.
we finished the package tour itinerary finally and went about getting lost in tokyo. the first place we visited was the ghibli museum in mitaka. this showcases the movies from the Studio Ghibli. Very small place, a bit hidden, takes a 20 min train ride from tokyo to the suburbs and a 15-20min walk. Totoro is very helpful in pointing out where to go !!

I love it when one finds these kinds of things. Helps you find your way around. Helps you move more efficiently through your tourist itinerary.
Of course, without such things, we might have more adventurous adventures...
The Japanese are a helpful bunch, not only are they willing to help you out, they have these handy dandy signs in various locations that show you a map of the area and normally have some english on them so you can orient yourself.
