I took some pictures today of my exhaust pipes... I don't know if these

will be helpful to you, but I thought I would send them anyway.

I had to take the pax side off to check the gasket because it was leaking...

One thing I can tell you is when you go to weld the flange on, make sure you

can get a socket on the nut on both sides...

My pipes are not exactly coming straight down near the flange. This makes

too much room for the socket on one nut and not enough for the other. The

pipes lean, so to speak, toward one nut or the other...

I worked on my flap handle today also. I figured out how to get the plunger

tube out, by cutting the quadrant tube, and sliding the outer tube off the

quadrant. This lets the inner tube slide right out, spring and all. Mine

has a small bolt for the plunger catch. I don't think it was an eighth of

an inch like the plans call for, and the threads were still showing. I am

planning to put a 3/16 or 5/32 back, and sharpen all the threads off.
