Help the aged,
one time they were just like you,
drinking, smoking cigs and sniffing glue. Help the aged,
don't just put them in a home,
can't have much fun in there all on their own.
Give a hand, if you can,
try and help them to unwind.
Give them hope & give them comfort 'cos they're running out of time.
*In the meantime we try.
Try to forget that nothing lasts forever. No big deal so give us all a feel.
Funny how it all falls away.
When did you first realise?
It's time you took an older lover baby. Teach you stuff
although he's looking rough.
Funny how it all falls away.
Help the aged
'cos one day you'll be older too
- you might need someone who can
pull you through
& if you look very hard
behind the lines upon their face you may see where you are headed
and it's such a lonely place.
You can dye your hair
but it's the one thing you can't change.
Can't run away from yourself, yourself...
Funny how it all falls away.
So help the aged.

I was going to have the boys help me with the vacuuming, but ended up going with...
Daily Dog Challenge 1348. "Plan B"
..., dusting the props.
Our Daily Challenge - July 11, 2015 - "The Household Task You Hate The Most"
When you have have two large fluffy dogs - especially one who is a constant heavy shedder (Henry, that would be you) - dusting is either a full-time job or an exercise in futility.
At least with vacuuming you get the pleasure of hauling the full bag out to the garbage knowing that you accomplished something.
To be honest, I have a narrow plastic garden rake - the sort you use to get the leaves out from under small shrubs - and I first rake the carpet before I vacuum it.
This not only saves on vacuum bags (else I would fill one per week) but keeps the countless bits of shredded boxes (eh hem... looking at you again, Henry) from clogging up the machine.

I really hope some one sees this! I got this doll an obitsu, and the obitsu is falling apart! Everytime I move her, the top of her body pops off, and some times so does the bottom, and the connecter between them. Plus, her neck is floppy, at a joint around shoulder height. She hasn't been dropped and she is stored with bubble wrap. I contacted the sellerof the obitsu, and she saidshe didn't know why that happened. She also said I could ship it back and she could look at it, maybe replace it, but I need it and can't wait for it to be shipped there and back. So, does any one know what happened? Or how to fix it? Please help!

This pretty girl, Merle, needs a new home. She is very smart, very eager to please and would make a great agility dog. She needs to be an only dog, at least for a while, and she needs a strong, experienced pack leader to train her, work with her and make her feel secure. She has some issues, but also has lots of love to give.
She is up to date on her immunizations, has been spayed and is on heartworm preventive.
Please help me find a loving forever home for Merle. Her recent situation has changed (she has been living out in the county with room to run) and although I'd love to keep her, she is not happy here because there are so many other dogs around (at least 20 dogs across the fence on the three sides of the backyard) and it really stresses her. She is a precious little dog and deserves to be happy even though it breaks my heart to have to give her up.
