The drops are helping. Surprisingly, many are glad it is burning since it is so dense there. They look forward to good hunting in the future. I personally never thought of that.
These dainty little arpons are so pretty but I don't know how to get a good photo of them, that shows the whole, unfolded apron. They are so "see-through" . Everything I've tried looks terrible!

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish was founded in 1919 by the first Bishop of Oklahoma, Theophile Meerschaert. Monsignor Monnot was appointed pastor on January 16, 1919 to a parish covering the 80 square miles that would serve the northward expansion of Oklahoma City. The first Masses in the new parish were celebrated in an automobile showroom on Classen Boulevard owned by the Rowe family. On May of 1919, twelve men worked for two days to build a temporary wooden church building on property purchased by the Parish... the property now bounded by NW 31st Streets, Western to Lake.

ok, so apparently, there are SEALS in new hampshire. harbor seals, to be exact. mom and i were driving along swazey parkway when i spotted this little guy who was stuck, somehow (thats ice he's on, not sand). no problem, i called the police department and he's ok now! isn't he cute?!
A good start of the week..
They began with circle time reviewing what they learned last week. They had great fun helping the community by being Transport Managers, road construction engineers and some as drivers.
They enjoyed learning how to write. Numeracy of today was focused with Pizza Maths and finally feeding the hungry penguin with number fish.
They also sorted colors with pom pom and sang a song on shapes, made a Taxi for Arts and Craft and phonic p for penguin. Their fine motor skills were put to work.
The week started with full swing and awaiting for much more this week.
