Help the aged,
one time they were just like you,
drinking, smoking cigs and sniffing glue. Help the aged,
don't just put them in a home,
can't have much fun in there all on their own.
Give a hand, if you can,
try and help them to unwind.
Give them hope & give them comfort 'cos they're running out of time.
*In the meantime we try.
Try to forget that nothing lasts forever. No big deal so give us all a feel.
Funny how it all falls away.
When did you first realise?
It's time you took an older lover baby. Teach you stuff
although he's looking rough.
Funny how it all falls away.
Help the aged
'cos one day you'll be older too
- you might need someone who can
pull you through
& if you look very hard
behind the lines upon their face you may see where you are headed
and it's such a lonely place.
You can dye your hair
but it's the one thing you can't change.
Can't run away from yourself, yourself...
Funny how it all falls away.
So help the aged.

Help, not just anybody,
Help, you know I need someone, help."
I'm at a conference in Riverton, Wyoming. On my way back to hotel I ended up behind this trailer. It perfectly described how I feel. Sitting in a room ALL DAY either freezing in the AC or suffering in the stuffy room on hard chairs. Only one day to go and then I'm back home again. Till monday, when I have to come back for two more days! Help me!

We met-up with Jeff, Zann, and Toby at a dog park in Davis while we were en route to the Bay Area for Thanksgiving. Toby was doing to Pip all the things Pip normally does to Layla -- grabbing ears, biting tails, licking muzzles ... at times Pip wasn't quite sure what to make of it.
Digital Illustration Brief: From the "Lonely Hearts" adverts supplied pick one that you find interesting and illustrate it...
" LATE-50's, intellegent, caring, fun loving male, 5ft 4ins, tired of searching supermarkets for best friend/ lover. Can you help? Postal replies please."
These photographs i hope to develop and draw from them to create my illustration.
I feel all alone in this. I want it all to be over. I know my life isn't bad but in my head, it's constantly clouded with dark thoughts. I don't want to hurt anyone... but I feel like they don't really get how much I hurt inside...
i took this photo on the corner of Jefferson and Central Ave. The man was standing on a rather empty street with few cars running through it. I approached him after taking the photo, and he said he was fine with it. He did not really want to talk, so I didnt bother him further.
For edits, I cropped in tightly to make sure he was the main subject. I made it black and white, and increased the clarity to emphasize his face.
How can you document something happening around you in a visually appealing way?
In this case, when the subject is close to you, their facial expression make the photo more visually appealing,
How can you express opinions on an issue through documentary photography?
The message that we are trying to get across is the most important in documentary photography. This photo would be very different he was not holding the sign. If the issue is about the homeless, then the background is very important if talking about their situation.

It had been a very stressful day
when fear of falling came into play
An anxious moment till reason took hold
I mean I belong to the Spider fold
Spin some silk for goodness sake
safety line the leap to take
That tiny voice within, so profound
and so I lowered myself to ground
Once there peace and calmness soon returned
I climbed right back up, gravity spurned.

First time doing thumb gussets and I think they turned out rather well. I'm very pleased with these and I hope the recipient is, too.

State Senator Joan V. Hartley (D-Waterbury) sings along with students and volunteers at a 'Help Bag Hunger' Event in ShopRite of Waterbury. Senator Hartley was on hand to raise awareness of hunger in Connecticut and the need for food donations during National Hunger Action Month; students performed an original song and were selling CDs of the song to raise money for local food banks. I think its a 1947, but not sure.
If anyone seeing the pic and reading this can shed some light and pull me out of my mental fog, that would be appreciated.
This is the more classic part of the event.
Much quieter and less people around.
Oz wants new hair. But we don't want to reroot her current lovely locks.
We need an UNCUT EBL scalp (EBL will work with BL head, right?)
She has requested:
Disco Boogie
Tea for Two
Bohemian Beats/Again
Cinnamon Girl
Fancy Pansy
Or maybe another EBL girl.
She's really hoping for a CG scalp - the warm brown should work well with her. She'll be getting an entire new make over soon. :)
I hope you don't mind a little variation...this works better at larger sizes to see his hands and expression....
She's getting grey around her eyes (and there's a stray hair. Gee, that would be the ONE HAIR that isn't on my sofa. but, I digress...). When I first saw her at the vet's office, she was in the intensive care area, she weighed 25 lbs, and you could see every bone in her body, including her spine. But, she had Those Eyes. So, I called D. and said, "you gotta see this dog, she's got eyes like baby deer...". Her adopted name was "Annie", as in Little Orphan...
